We are a family owned business providing locally raised fresh organic eggs, chicken and poultry feed for the East African market with farms in Mkuranga, Tanzania. Our love for chicken inspires us to produce the best poultry products in the market raised in the most ethical standards and slaughtered using halal guidelines.

Feed ingredients for poultry diets are carefully selected by our specialized nutritionists to create a balanced diet based on the requirements of our birds. FAQ- Frequently asked questions
1. What’s the difference between chickens that lay eggs and the chicken we eat?
Broiler chickens are raised for meat. Broiler chicks hatch from fertilized eggs but the eggs we eat are unfertilized and come from hens specifically raised to lay eggs.
2. Are brown eggs better for you than white eggs?
The color of an egg’s shell has no implication on nutrition. Regardless of whether the eggshell is brown or white, the nutritional value of an egg is the same. Brown eggs tend to be considered healthier because they are associated with local chickens.
3. Why are egg yolks different colors?
This depends on the Hen's diet. If the hen eats a wheat based diet then she will lay pale yellow eggs. Poultry feed containing corn produces eggs with a more yellow yolk. The brighter the corn the yellower the yolk.
4. What is the difference between organic chicken and GMO chicken?
Organic crops cannot be grown with synthetic pesticides, and organic regulations prohibit certain toxic pesticides from being used on crops, but there are no special restrictions for GMO crops.
5. Is it better to buy "Cage-Free" Chicken to eat?
Our broiler chickens live in large open structures and they are free to roam, eat, drink water and socialize with other birds.
